Since the 19th century, thousands of researchers have tried to find a solution in order for their drugs to reach tumors and spread in their volume, penetrate hypoxic zones and destroy all cancer cells, avoid side effects to the patient and be affordable to the payors. Companies and institutions have spent trillions of dollars during this time to create a solution in order to overcome these challenges. Today, we see discoveries that provide small steady incremental improvements in cancer treatments, but no real game changer.
